Asked to teach a class of six-year-olds, I felt that the lesson materials lacked an image of Christ the children could relate to. I wanted something that showed Him looking personally into their souls, expressing His love, understanding, and unconditional acceptance of each of them. So I created this.
After all, little children are our role models for becoming like Him. He asks us to follow their example, having simple love, humility, meekness, joy, and willing obedience.
Each of us will spend our lives learning about, loving, and following His example, eventually surrendering whatever separates us from Him regardless of age, race, gender, or what we may or may not have done. We all will feel that love.
