Blessing the Child Drawing

I finished my second secret Christmas commission this morning (No, I can’t share it with you. It’s a Christmas gift!) and am excited to put “Blessing the Child” on my easel. This one is a followup to my 2009 painting “Simeon” and featured the same model taking the Christ child in his arms to bless him, with Mary and Joseph looking on. I hope to make good progress with it today! I need to finish this and one other before my presentation on January 20.
