Alma, son of Alma the prophet, had been convinced of the terrible consequences of the path his bad choices. Now racked with guilt and pain, he pleads to Christ to free him from his sins. The Savior stretches his arms to encompass the man and grant him peace and complete forgiveness. He has been there all along, waiting for Alma to ask.
